Good day, Mr. Temitope, it is nice to have you here. Can you Introduce yourself briefly?

Hi, I’m Adeniji Temitope, a pro SEO Content writer, Blogger, and freelancer with years of experience. So far in the years, I have worked on different projects such as Cryptocurrency (bulliscoming.com), Health (Sufficientgist.com.ng), Tech (WAYS2NET), Education (Eduprospector), and many more.

Tell us, why did you choose Freelancing as a career path?

I grew up in an environment where digital skills are not encouraged; where we believe in our normal lifestyle; Go to school>> Secure a job >>Earn a Salary.

As for me, I love tech generally. I built my first blog in 2010, inviting my classmates to check and give comments. Even after the demise of mywapblog, I went further to learn some coding which I practiced on wapka.com before the demise. I have a strong belief in Succeeding through the internet.

In 2020, the story changed when I met Johnmiracle Ejikeme in a night session. His WhatsApp Stories and timeline are one of my motivations. The word ‘impossible’ is not in his dictionary, instead, the word means ‘I’m possible’ to him.

So far, so good, I have learned and Earned a lot from him. He is one of the best Tutors and mentors I ever met online. I never met him but he relates with me as if we have been together for years. I’m really grateful sir.

When did you start your Freelancing Journey?

It has been a while, but I started officially in 2021. So far, so good I have worked with different brands and different niches as an SEO content writer, Lead Writer, and Editor. I also gather more lessons from them.

When you started, was the journey smooth?

It was not a smooth one, I believe life is not meant to be in Equilibrium but lies in our hands the Equipped equation that would be used to Equilibrate the whole expression to form Equilibrium. 

Irrespective of challenges, we would always have a way to solve them respectively which was done at the end

I learned something which is there is always a solution, I anticipate more from this interview.

What were your challenges?

Opening an Upwork account is easy, but the challenges come after a successful registration. This includes: Securing jobs on Upwork, Adequate working tools, Financial Systems, and more.

It’s almost always easy to secure a job locally but Securing on Upwork is another thing. But with all these, I kept grinding.

Did these challenges stop you at any point?

At first, I felt helpless. I felt like quitting, I went off for a short period but I was motivated by Johnmiracle Ejikeme WhatsApp Stories. He never stopped trying, he kept grinding and also kept winning. with that, I said to myself “I can do it”.

What steps did you take to overcome these challenges? 

It’s almost always easy to secure a job locally but Securing on Upwork is another thing. One of the reasonable steps I took is to book a 30-minute session with Miss Gift; a representative of WorkupVarsity.

In the session, I explained everything to her and she gave me some possible solutions which turned out to be the best solution. It helped me a lot and I’m grateful for that.

When you experienced a breakthrough, Tell us about your first Job on Upwork

My first job on Upwork is not a miracle or magic, it was a result of what I have sowed. I joined Upwork before joining WorkupVarsity, and all registration went well with the help of Johnmiracle Ejikeme YouTube videos. His free tips helped a lot.

I used one of his templates in WorkupVarsity to secure the first Job. 

At first, the client replied to my proposal but went off for a long period of time. I was wondering what went wrong but can’t figure it out. Irrespective of that I kept checking on him via direct message, I sent him messages 2 to 3 times monthly.

Later in early December 2022, I saw his reply. He was happy I checked on him while he was away and also explained what happened; the death of her sister brought about a temporary pause to his business.

Then he asks if I am still available for a long-term job. He proposed a 3$ per hour work for over 10 hrs weekly, which I accepted because all I need to do is produce 2 content weekly.

As I speak now, the contract is still on and everything is moving splendidly, all glory be to God.
